Making with Vessero from your own app, service or agent: API keys, what calls cost, jobs and webhooks, and keeping a key safe.
- 2 minGet started with the Vessero APIThe API lets your own app, website, service or agent make with Vessero on your account, paid in your credits. Make a key in Settings → API, keep it on your server, price a run, then run it.
- 2 minWhat API calls cost, and how to cap themA run through the API costs what the same run costs on its studio's page, paid from your credits. Nothing runs without the price confirmed first; a request sent twice runs once; and each key can have a daily cap.
- 2 minJobs and webhooks in the APIMost runs finish after the call that starts them. You get a job back: follow it, wait on it for up to a minute, or name a webhook address and we'll POST the job there once it's done or has failed, signed with your key's secret.
- 1 minKeep an API key safe, and revoke oneAn API key spends your credits, so keep it on your server and give each place its own. If a key may have leaked, revoke it in Settings → API: every call holding it is refused at once.
