The Vessero API is for people who build: a mobile app, a website, a shop backend, an automation or an agent of your own. It reaches what the studios do, on your account and paid from your credits, at the prices the pages show:
- Pictures, clips and sound: images, video, talking avatars, AI influencer clips, upscales and edits, captions, voiceovers and music.
- Ads: UGC video ads with presenters, picture ads, and stories from a script.
- The Creative Board: making boards, adding and wiring cards, running a card or the whole board.
- The Creative Director: sending it a brief, reading its plan, and making what it proposes.
- Your library: files in and out, products, Cast, voices, and your link-in-bio page.
Make a key
Open Settings → API and press New key. Give it a name you'll recognise later, such as "Shop backend", and choose what it may do:
- See your account reads your credits, models, boards and work. It spends nothing.
- Make things and spend credits runs studios and spends credits.
You can also give it a daily credit cap. The key is shown once, when you make it: copy it then. After that, Vessero shows only its last four characters.
Call the API
Send the key with every call as Authorization: Bearer vsk_…. The base address is https://vessero.com/api/v1. Call it from your server, never from a web page or an app people download: anyone who has the key can spend your credits.
Every run that spends works in two steps:
- Price it. Send the run's body to its address with
/quoteon the end, such asPOST /images/quote. Nothing runs and nothing is charged. You get back the price in credits and your balance. - Run it. Send the same body to the address itself, such as
POST /images, withconfirmCreditsset to that price. A picture or a voiceover answers with what it made. Other runs, and a picture still being made after about 45 seconds, answer at once with a job you can follow. See Jobs and webhooks.
Files and products
Wherever a call takes a file, such as a reference picture, a start frame, a product's pictures, a presenter or a video to look like, you can send a public https link to it. Vessero brings the file into your Uploads first, with the same checks as an upload, and the run uses it from there. A file on your own disk goes to POST /files first.
Your products are yours to add and change: POST /products adds one with its name, details, price and pictures, and PATCH /products/{productId} changes it. Its id is the productId a UGC ad takes.
Every address, with its fields, its answers and code in curl, Node and Python, is in the developer docs. The same reference is at https://vessero.com/api/v1/openapi.json for tools that read OpenAPI.
