What it takes

  • The result is at most 8,192 pixels on its long side.
  • Upscaled by Topaz’s image upscaler; when it is unavailable, by Recraft’s crisp upscale, sized to the factor you chose.
  • Pictures only. A clip can be upscaled ×2 inside Edit & Enhance, priced by its length.

Questions

Before you run it.

  • Is the image upscaler free?

    No. An upscale costs 12 credits a picture, shown on the Run button before anything is charged, and a run that fails is refunded. Credits come with a plan or a credit pack.

  • How big can it make a picture?

    Two or four times its width and height, up to 8,192 pixels on the long side. When ×4 would pass that, the picture is made from a smaller copy, and the size it will come out at is shown before you run it.

  • What files does it take?

    PNG, JPEG and WebP. A picture over 8 MB is made smaller in your browser before it is uploaded. The result is saved as the upscaler returns it, a PNG or a JPEG.
