Your Library holds everything in your account: what you made in every studio and on every board, the files you brought in, your characters and products, and the uploads you deleted. Nothing on the page runs or costs anything. Each studio also keeps its own list, such as My images on Images, and each board keeps its cards.
Made
Everything you made, newest first: pictures, clips, tracks, voiceovers and stories, and the finished work on your boards. Narrow it with Images, Video, Audio and Motion, and by where it was made with From: Studios, Boards or Series.
Open a piece to see it big, with its prompt, model, shape, length and date. Under the prompt, References shows what it was made from: a clip's start and end frames and the pictures, clips and sounds it used, named as its prompt names them (@Image1, @Video1, @Audio1), a picture's reference pictures, or the cards wired into a board's card. Press one to see it in the piece's place, and Back, or Esc, to return. From there:
- Download saves the file.
- Edit & Enhance and Animate take a picture to Edit & Enhance or Video. The studio shows the price and waits for you to press Run.
- Reuse prompt puts its words back in the studio that made it.
- Add to a board puts it on one of your boards as a card of its own. Open board goes to the board it came from.
- Hide takes it out of the Library only. It stays in the studio or on the board that made it.
- Delete removes it and its file, everywhere and for good. It's there for what you made in a studio; a board's cards are deleted on their board. Something still being made can't be deleted. What a piece was made from isn't deleted with it: your uploads stay in Uploads.
Hide and Delete each ask you to press twice.
Uploads
Every picture, video and sound you bring into any tool lands in Uploads by itself, ready to use again anywhere. You can add files here too: press Upload, or drop them on the page. It takes pictures (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF), videos (MP4, MOV) and sounds (MP3, WAV). A voice note from your phone (M4A, AAC, OGG or Opus) is kept as an MP3, under its own name ending in .mp3.
- Filter by Images, Videos or Audio, by the tool a file came in through with From, or by folder. Sort by Last used, Newest or Name, or search.
- Each file has Download and Move to folder, and Rename and Delete in its menu.
- Press Select to move, download or delete several files at once.
Folders
Folders group your uploads your way: a campaign, a client, a brand.
- In Uploads, press New folder and name it.
- Move files in with Move to folder on a file, or from a selection.
Press a folder to show only its files. Its menu renames it or removes it; removing a folder leaves its files in Uploads.
Trash
Deleting an upload moves it to Trash, where it waits for 30 days and then goes for good. Before it moves, the dialog says where the file is still used, on a board, in a character or in a video you made. That work keeps working.
- Restore puts a file back where it was, in its folder.
- Delete forever removes one now, and Empty Trash removes them all. Neither can be undone.
Files in Trash count in your storage until they go. Trash holds deleted uploads only: something you made and deleted from the Library is gone at once.
Saved
Your characters from Cast, your products, and the voices you gave your characters, ready to use again in any tool. Each opens where it's made and changed.
Downloads
Download saves the file where you are, named for what it is. It never opens a new tab or takes you off the page, and a long file shows a note while it comes. If a file can't be fetched, you're told, and offered to open it in a new tab to save it from there. See A download will not start, or saves the wrong file.
Storage
Uploads shows how much space your work, your uploads and your Trash take up. It's a reading, not a limit: nothing is refused for lack of space.
