Midjourney is in the model menu on Images, on a Creative Board's picture cards and for your cast's looks, beside the other models. Pick it as you pick any model; the menu says what each version takes and what a run costs.
Four pictures a run
Midjourney makes four pictures from every prompt, and you pay once for all four.
- Midjourney is its newest version, V8.2.
- Midjourney V7 is the version before it, with its own look.
- Midjourney Niji 7 is Midjourney's model for anime and illustration.
Each takes up to 4 pictures to work from beside your words, and what to leave out in a box of its own. They make every shape the bar has, and a few more on a board's picture card, such as 21:9, 2:1 and 1:2.
Speed sits where the resolution usually is, under Output. Fast is Midjourney's normal speed. Turbo comes back quicker and costs more. The price on Generate is for the whole run of four.
Where the four pictures go:
- On Images, all four land in My images, one after another. Only the first says what the run was charged; the other three came with it.
- On a Creative Board, the card shows the first picture, and the other three are in its takes list: press the takes pill at the top left of the picture to see them, put one on the card, or copy one to a card of its own.
- For a cast look, the four are among the look's takes.
If it isn't in your menu
Midjourney can be switched off for a while, and then it leaves the menu. A board card already set to it says so, and runs once it's back, or on another model you pick. Pictures you made with it stay in your Library.
