Run all makes everything on a board that isn't made yet, in one go. A Finish card turns the clips you've made into one cut, ready to post, with captions or without. Each is priced before anything runs.
Run all
- On the board, press Run all on the rail ("price every card, then run them"). It shows while at least one card is still to make, or failed last time.
- Check the list. It shows every card not made yet, in steps, in the order they'll run, each with its price and how it's worked out. Cards whose last run failed are marked Failed before, and cards that can't run are listed under Will not run, with the reason. Cards already made aren't run again.
- Check the total. Where a price depends on something the run makes first, such as a talking clip as long as a voiceover that isn't made yet, the total is an estimate with the most it can come to, and your balance has to cover that most.
- Press Run all, with the total on the button. If your balance is short, the button reads Get credits to run.
A card starts once every card it reads from is made. Up to four cards run at a time, up to two of them clips. Each card is charged the moment it starts, never more than the most it was shown to cost, and a card that fails gives its credits back. The run keeps going on our servers if you close the tab.
While it runs, a line at the top of the board counts what's running, made and still to go, and the credits spent. Show the cards lists each one.
When something goes wrong
- A card fails. Its credits come back, and the cards that read from it are skipped, never started and never charged.
- You run out of credits. The run stops, and nothing it skipped was charged. Top up and press Run all again to make the rest.
- A price rises during the run, for example because a card's settings were changed. That card isn't run or charged. It waits under Needs your OK until the person who started the run presses Confirm at the new price, or someone presses Skip. Left unanswered for a day, it's skipped.
- You want to stop. Press Cancel. Cards already running finish and are charged; nothing else starts.
On a List card, Run each line opens Run all for its lines.
The Finish card
A Finish card cuts the clips wired into it together, in the order they're wired, over the voiceover or track wired into Audio, and captions them. Add one from the card list, then wire in:
- Clips: up to 8, and up to 60 seconds in all;
- Audio: one voiceover, track or clip's sound;
- Script: the words, if no voiceover carries them.
A voiceover or track can be wired in before it's made. The finish then waits for it: its Finish says to run that card first, and charges nothing until it has. Run all makes it first.
The captions are timed to the words as they're said, from the voiceover's script or the script you wired in, or from what's said in the clips. On Captions and Kinetic type, a cut with nothing said and no script has nothing to caption, so the finish fails and is refunded, unless you pick No captions: a cut with no captions needs no words.
Pick a Tier:
- Captions: word-timed captions, placed for the platform.
- Ad pack: captions, a price stamp, a product call-out and an end card.
- Kinetic type: every word animated in, the product and price hit hardest, plus the ad pack.
Then set it up:
- Captions: the chip opens the same Captions panel as UGC Ads. It shows your first clip's frame with the words on it, the way the cut draws them. Pick No captions or a style (Auto, Word Pop, Impact Slam, Clean Subtitle, Editorial, Luxury Serif, Glass Tech, Marker Energy or Retro Collage), its Size (S, M, L or XL) and its Position (Top, Middle or Bottom, or drag the words). No captions works on Captions and Ad pack, and an Ad pack keeps its price stamp, call-out and end card. Kinetic type sets every word itself, so there the chip holds only the AI label.
- Platform: TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Stories, Meta feed or YouTube. Captions and overlays keep out of its buttons.
- Aspect: follows the first clip unless you pick 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 or 16:9.
- Small print: a line on screen for the whole cut, such as "Illustrative. Results vary."
- On Ad pack and Kinetic type: a Look (Brand kit when a brand card is wired in), the overlays you want, and the end card's call to action. Each overlay is drawn only when the wired cards give it its facts: the price stamp needs a price on the product card, for example.
Press Finish, with its price on the button. The card shows each step: cutting the clips together, timing every word, setting the captions, animating the overlays, finishing the cut.
The AI label
The AI-generated label switch, at the foot of the Captions panel, puts an "AI-generated" tag on every frame, top left. It comes on by itself when a Cast card feeds the clips. You can switch it off, as on UGC Ads, and it then stays off: the card reminds you to say it was made with AI where you post it, as TikTok and Meta ask. The chip says which, "AI label" or "no label". See Captions and the AI label.
Getting the cut out
The finished cut plays on the card with its sound. Download it from the card's action bar, its right-click menu, or its full view. A finished cut can't be wired into another card.
