Business: teams, seats and invoices

Business is for teams, studios and agencies: a shared workspace with the seats you need, credits pooled across the team, client folders and review links, billed by invoice. The seats, credits and price are agreed with our team, so it starts with Talk to us rather than checkout.

Business is sold by our team rather than at checkout. You agree the seats, the credits each month and the price with us, and Stripe bills it by invoice.

Get Business

  1. Press Talk to us under Business on Pricing or in Plan and billing. It opens the contact form with Business chosen.
  2. Tell us your company or studio, your team's size and what you make, and the seats and credits a month you think you need.

Our team sets the plan up on your account. It's Business from that moment, so your team can get set up while the first invoice waits to be paid; the credits arrive when it's paid.

Invoices

  • Stripe emails each invoice, with a page to pay it by card or bank transfer.
  • The price is agreed before tax. VAT is added, or reverse-charged for an EU business that gave its VAT number.
  • Plan and billing shows your plan as billed by invoice, and when it renews. Invoices and payment details opens Stripe, with your invoices, how you pay, and your company's details.
  • An unpaid invoice shows as past due. Pay it from its email or from Invoices and payment details; nothing is lost in the meantime.
  • There's no switch or cancel button for a Business plan. To change your seats, your credits or the price, or to move to another plan, Talk to us.

Your workspace

The account on the Business plan makes the team's workspace in Workspace: give it a name and press Create workspace. New boards then go to it; the boards you had stay yours.

The switcher under the logo in the sidebar moves between Personal and your workspaces. It changes where your next board is made, and who pays for its runs.

People and roles

Invite people from Workspace with their email address and a role. An invitation lasts fourteen days, and they sign in with that address to join.

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerPays for the workspace through its Business plan. Everything an admin can do, and deleting the workspace.
AdminManages members, clients and every board in the workspace.
EditorMakes and runs boards for any client. Their runs are paid from the workspace.
ViewerOpens every board and review, and changes nothing.

Only the owner can make someone an admin, or change an admin.

Seats

Every person is a seat, the owner included, and a pending invitation holds one too. More seats come with your Business plan: talk to us. If the plan ends, members keep their access, but nobody new can join until it starts again.

Pooled credits and limits

Runs on the workspace's boards are paid from the workspace's credits, which are the owner's balance. Owners and admins see what the team has spent from the pool this month, member by member, and each member sees their own.

An owner or admin can give a member a monthly credit limit. A run that would take them over it is refused, with a message to ask an admin to raise it. When the pool can't cover a run, members are asked to have the owner top up.

Clients and reviews

  • Clients: a folder for each brand you make work for, with its boards, its brand kit and its monthly spend.
  • Reviews: links your clients open without an account, to approve each piece, ask for changes or reject it, with comments. Make one with New review link, or Share for review on a board. A link lasts 7, 30 or 90 days, can have a passcode, and can be withdrawn at any time.
