Buy credits without a plan

Add credits in any amount from Top up, Plan and billing or Pricing, and pay in Stripe's checkout. Without a plan you can buy them 3 times in any 30 days, and they last 60 days; on a plan you top up as often as you like, and they don't expire.

You don't need a plan to make things. Buy credits once, in any amount from 440 to 50,000, and spend them on any run.

What they cost

The more you add at once, the less each credit costs: 1,000 credits cost $25, 5,000 cost $110 and 20,000 cost $420. Amounts in between are priced on the same curve, and beyond 20,000 each credit costs what it does at 20,000.

Wherever you buy, the price of the amount you've set, and what a credit works out at, are shown before you pay. Prices are in US dollars and include tax where it applies.

How long they last

  • Without a plan, credits you buy last 60 days from the day they arrive. Whatever is left after that expires.
  • While you have a plan, any plan, they don't expire. If the plan ends, they have 60 days from then.
  • Before they end, we tell you twice, in the bell and by email: two weeks before and three days before, with the date. Starting a plan keeps them.

Plan and billing shows what's left of the credits you bought, with the day they end, or that your plan is keeping them. Checkout says the rule above the pay button. Credits bought before 20 October 2026 last until 20 April 2027, and don't expire while you have a plan.

How often, without a plan

  • Without a plan, you can buy credits 3 times in any 30 days. Under the price, three bars show how many purchases you have left, and until which day. The 3 count across addresses on the same mailbox, such as name+1@gmail.com and name@gmail.com.
  • After the third, the Top up sheet keeps the amount you set and offers the plan that covers it instead, with the day you can buy credits once more without one. That day is 30 days after the oldest of the three.
  • On a plan, any plan, you can top up as often as you like.

A refunded purchase doesn't count towards the three.

Where to buy

  1. Press + Top up at the top of any page. On a phone, tap your balance in the top bar.
  2. Set the amount: type it, drag the slider, or pick one of the amounts under it. A typed amount is rounded to the nearest hundred.
  3. Press the Add credits button, which shows the amount and the price. Stripe's checkout opens.
  4. Pay, and you come straight back to the page you were on.

You can also buy from Buy credits in Plan and billing, or from Add credits · any amount on Pricing. If you aren't signed in, you create an account or sign in first, then go on to checkout.

When a run costs more than you have, pressing it opens a window with the amount already set to the least that covers the run. On a plan, that window offers credits first; without one it shows the plans, with Buy credits once below them. After your third purchase in 30 days, it shows only the plans, and says when you can buy credits once more. Whatever you'd typed is kept for when you come back.

At checkout

Stripe takes the payment, and your card details go to Stripe rather than to us.

  • A tick box. Before you pay, you agree to the Terms and ask for your credits to be delivered now. If you buy as a consumer in the EU, that ends your 14-day right to withdraw once they're delivered: see Refunds for a plan or a credit purchase.
  • Buying for a business. Give the company's name and its VAT number, and they go on your invoice. A business outside Portugal with a valid EU VAT number isn't charged VAT; the reverse charge applies.
  • A promotion code. If you have one, enter it on the checkout page.

Back from checkout, a note says the credits were added, and the bell says so too. If you paid with a method that takes time to clear, the note says they're on their way: they arrive once the payment does.

The order they're spent in

  • On a plan, your plan's credits are spent first.
  • Then credits with an end date, the soonest to end first. That's how starter credits go before credits you buy.
  • Credits that never expire are spent last.

They have no cash value and can't be moved to another account.

On a plan and topping up most months? The Top up sheet says what the next plan up would give you each month, and for how much more.

Each purchase is in your receipts and invoices: see Find your receipts and invoices.

If Plan and billing says purchases are paused, nothing can be bought for now. Everything you have is untouched, and if you need credits, we can help.
