Share a board and work on it together

A board can be shared with other people who have a Vessero account. They see it change live, including runs as they happen, and they can work on it with you or only look.

Add people

Only the board's owner can share it. Open the board and press Share.

• By email. Type the email of their Vessero account, choose Can edit or Can view, and press Add. No email is sent: the board appears in their Creative Board straight away. An address with no Vessero account can't be added.
• By link. Choose Can edit or Can view and press Create link, then Copy it. Anyone with the link joins with that role, once they've signed in. A link has no end date: it works until you press Regenerate, which issues a new link and retires the old one, or Disable.

A board has one invite link at a time. Joining through a link never lowers someone's role: an editor who opens a view-only link stays an editor.

If the Share dialog says invite links are paused, add people by email instead. Everyone already on the board keeps their access.

What each role can do

• Can edit: add, change, wire, run and delete cards, and rename the board.
• Can view: see every card, wire, setting and price, play clips and download what's made. Their board shows a View only chip; they can't change or run anything.

Only the owner can delete the board or change who has it.

Working together

When someone else is on the board, their initials show at the top, with a named cursor in their colour, and the cards they've selected are outlined in it. Moves, edits and runs show for everyone as they happen.

In your Creative Board, a board someone shared with you is marked Shared, or View only.

Who pays

Whoever presses Run pays for that card, from their own credits, at the price on its button. On a board outside a team workspace, other people's runs never spend your credits.

On a team workspace's board, members' runs come from the workspace's pooled credits, within any monthly limit set for them. Someone invited to only that board pays for their own runs. See Business: teams, seats and invoices.

Change or remove access

Press Share again. Under People with access, change anyone's role, or press the bin beside their name to remove them. It takes effect straight away: someone removed while the board is open is told their access was removed and taken back to their boards.
