AI apps
Connecting Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code to your account: what they can do, what they spend, files and links, and disconnecting.
- 4 minConnect an AI appClaude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and other AI apps connect to one address, https://vessero.com/mcp. Most sign in to Vessero and you press Allow; a developer app on a computer with no browser can use an API key. Settings walks you through each app, one step at a time.
- 2 minConnect ClaudeAdd Vessero to claude.ai or the Claude desktop app as a custom connector, sign in to Vessero and press Allow, then switch it on in a chat. It works on every Claude plan, and Free allows one custom connector.
- 3 minConnect ChatGPTChatGPT takes Vessero on the web, for Business, Enterprise and Edu, or in the ChatGPT desktop app on every plan, Plus and Free too. Add Vessero as a custom MCP server, sign in to Vessero and press Allow.
- 2 minConnect Claude CodeAdd Vessero to Claude Code with one command, then sign in with /mcp and press Allow. On a computer with no browser, put an API key in the command instead. Claude Code needs a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan with Claude.
- 2 minConnect CursorPress Add to Cursor in Settings to install Vessero in Cursor, then sign in to Vessero from Cursor's MCPs and press Allow. There's no key to copy. On a computer with no browser, use an API key instead. For Cursor 3.9 or later.
- 2 minConnect VS Code with GitHub CopilotAdd Vessero to VS Code with MCP: Add Server, accept the trust and sign-in prompts, press Allow, and start a new chat. Any Copilot plan works; on Business or Enterprise, an admin turns MCP on first. With no browser, use an API key from your environment.
- 2 minConnect Gemini CLIAdd Vessero to Gemini CLI with one command, then sign in with /mcp auth vessero and press Allow. Signing in needs a browser on the same computer; over SSH or on a server, put an API key in the command instead.
- 1 minConnect CodexAdd Vessero to Codex with codex mcp add, then sign in with codex mcp login vessero and press Allow. The Codex IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app use the same setup. Every ChatGPT plan includes Codex, Free and Go too.
- 2 minConnect Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf)Put Vessero in Devin Desktop's MCP config file, then click Authenticate next to vessero and press Allow. Windsurf became Devin Desktop on 2 June 2026. On a computer with no browser, put an API key in the file instead.
- 1 minConnect PerplexityOn Perplexity Pro, Max or Enterprise, add Vessero as a remote MCP connector with OAuth, sign in to Vessero and press Allow, then turn it on under Sources.
- 1 minConnect another AI appAny app that takes a remote MCP server can use Vessero. Give it the address https://vessero.com/mcp, then sign in to Vessero and press Allow, or, if the app can't sign in, send an API key in a header.
- 9 minWhat an AI app can do in your accountA connected app sees what you see: your credits, the studios, models and voices open to you, your products, cast, boards and Library. Allowed to make things, it runs the studios at their prices, quoting each run first, follows longer runs, builds and changes boards and sets up draft communities.
- 5 minBuild and change boards with an AI appA connected app can do on a Creative Board what you do there. It starts boards, adds cards with their words, model and settings, changes, moves and wires them, takes cards off and puts them back, and brings your files and products in. Every change is free and shows at once. Runs are priced first.
- 2 minSet up a community with an AI appA connected app can open a community for you as a draft, write its tagline, About and welcome message, pick its categories, set how people join, name its points levels, put a Library picture on as its cover or logo, and lay out a course. Publishing it, and its prices, stay with you on its page.
- 3 minCredits, prices and daily caps with AI appsAn app spends your credits at the studios' own prices. It gets each run's price first and is asked to check it with you; a run starts only at that price, or less. A request sent twice runs once. Each app or key can have a daily cap, and Connected apps shows what each spent this week.
- 4 minBring files in and share links with an AI appFor files on your device, an app opens an upload window in the chat or gives you a one-time link. It can also fetch a file from a public link, or reuse what's in your Library. Results come back as links that last about a week; for one that keeps working, it makes a share link you can turn off.
- 4 minDisconnect an app or revoke a key, and when an app stops workingDisconnect an app or revoke a key in Settings under Connected apps. It stops at once, and what it made stays yours. A new password also disconnects apps you connected by signing in, though keys keep working. What an app's messages mean, and how to fix them.
